Yarl IT Hub (YIT) is a not for profit social enterprise which strives towards inspiring, supporting and fostering Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the community. It\u2019s an organization by the community for the community. The Yarl IT Hub community consists of all those who share the dream of making Jaffna in to the next Silicon Valley and abides by the core values of the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 17th August 2023, University of Jaffna (UBL-Jaffna) and Yarl IT Hub signed an MoU to work on the following<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Provide technical support and resources to evangelize entrepreneurship, and innovation at UOJ among students, alumni, and staff.<\/li>
  2. Make awareness among students, alumni, and staff regarding opportunities available via Yarl IT Hub’s programs, network, community and expertise so that they can use these opportunities to take their venture forward.<\/li>
  3. Establish Start-Up Incubation centers at UOJ to support entrepreneurs and their products, services or research.<\/li>
  4. Enable and promote other local and international linkages to entrepreneurs.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
