GERMAN ACADEMIC EXCHANGE SERVICE (DAAD) \u2013 FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>Call for proposals now open for Higher Educational and Research Institutions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

DAAD has opened calls for proposals under the following two funding schemes in fostering bilateral\/multilateral academic and research collaboration aimed at higher educational and research institutions. Funding for both the German and Sri Lankan collaborative institutes will be provided by the DAAD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key eligibility requirement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Sri Lankan prospective applicants should establish a collaboration with a German university \/ research institution<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funding scheme \u2013 01<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Partnerships for the Health Sector in Developing Countries (PAGEL)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Supports the development of curricula and capacities at the partner universities by means of bilateral or multilateral university partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Provides support for returning graduates, alumni and the creation of professional networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Deadline for submission of applications: June 30, 2020<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funding scheme \u2013 02<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subject-Related Partnerships with institutions of Higher Education in Developing Countries<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 A scheme for cooperation between higher education institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Applies to cooperation in any given research field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 This program supports the partner institutions to set up subject-related networks on development-related issues and to consolidate existing cooperation structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
