On April 29, 2026, the Auditorium of the Faculty of Siddha Medicine at the University of Jaffna hosted an engaging and insightful Innovation & Startup Ideation Workshop<\/strong>, organized by the UBL Cell. The event brought together academic staff to explore how traditional Siddha knowledge can be transformed into innovative and market-relevant solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Kugarajeevan <\/a>(Community Manager, Yarl IT Hub<\/a>)<\/strong> conducted an engaging session on Innovation & Startup Ideation Workshop – Reimagining Siddha for Modern Markets<\/strong>. He guided participants through the process of understanding user needs, defining problems, ideating solutions, and developing practical business concepts. Adding further value to the workshop, Nusaike Mufthie <\/a>(Innovation Officer \/ Deputy Director, National Innovation Agency<\/a>)<\/strong> delivered an informative session on intellectual property (IP). He explained the importance of protecting innovative ideas and introduced key concepts such as patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
